[Emergency Meeting of Directors
held at 8 Harrington St. L'pool
on Friday 28th Feby. 1930]
Present Messrs W. C. Cuff (Chair), E. Green, A. Coffey,
J. Sharp, A. R. Wade & W. J. Sawyer.
O'Dowd (Blackburn) Secy. reported that the Rovers were now
prepared to part with this player and that
fee asked was £6000. It was decided to
make an offer of £3500.
McCambridge The Chairman reported that he had been
(Ballymena) in touch with the Chairman of the Ballymena
F.C. & that he had stated price required for
this player would be about £3000. He had
arranged to get in touch with him again
on Monday after receiving deputations report
on Sunday.
Troup A deputation from the Dundee F.C. attended
the meeting asking if we would transfer this
player to them. Decided to ask a fee of
£500 plus his accrued share of benefit.
Team Secy. reported that Dr. Davies had
declared Macpherson unfit. Decided
that Weldon play in his place & if Troup
was transferred Lewis to play instead.
