who had signed combination form for us.
Gee (Stockport) Mr. J. Elliott gave another good report of
this player.
O'Neill (Runcorn) Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that this centre forward
was not good enough for us.
Williams (Garston F.C.) Mr. J. McGill again reported favorably of this
centre forward.
Hill (Aberdeen) Mr. J. Weir gave another good report of this half back.
Grainger (Cockfield) Mr. W. Laine reported that this player was
not good enough for us at present.
Bradshaw (Bury) Letter read asking £8.500 for this player.
He had however been transferred to Liverpool.
Easton Secy. reported that Swansea Town F.C. had
enquired re this player & he had mentioned a fee
of £1000. The manager of Swansea attended and
it was decided to agree to his transfer as that
figure & that if completed we apply to the League
for permission to pay the player £225 accrued benefit.
O'Dowd (Blackburn) Secy. stated that he had asked the club
if they were will to part with this players and
they promised to discuss the matter & let us know.
