Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches v
Sheffield Wed. 1-4 & 0-4 & Sheffield Wed. Res. 2-2 & 4-3.
Dr. & Trainers Report Dr. W. T. Davies & Trainer Cooke reported the
following players unfit viz. Dean, Griffiths
& Virr.
Williams (Swansea) Messrs A. Coffey, Dr. C. S. Baxter & J. Fare reported that
this player had played an excellent game and
that they had secured his transfer for £4300
& he had been signed on at limit wage. Their
action was confirmed.
Ferguson & McPherson They also reported very favorably of these
(Swansea) two players.
Griffiths It was decided that the Doctor make
every effort to trace any serious illness of
this player.
Reports re Players Mr. W. Laine gave a very fair report of
Whyte (Walker Celtic) this player.
Leith Players Mr. J. Bell again reported favorably
of Steele (G. K.), Robinson (L. H.) & Nicol (C. F.) but
J. Weir stated that he hardly considered
them up to our Standard.
Hewitt It was agreed to ask this player to
come & play trial on New Years Day.
