Gee (Stockport) Mr. W. J. Sawyer gave a poor report of the
Bullock (Chesterfield) former, but a good report of the latter.
Williams (Swansea) Mr. J. Sharp gave an excellent report of this
full back also of Ferguson (G. K.).
Routledge (Bangor) J. Elliot gave a good report of this C. F.
Thornton (Accrington) J. Fare reported that he did not consider
this G. K. good enough for us.
Lynch (Rochdale) T. Fleetwood stated that this player was
not as good as our own.
Marcroft (Bacup) J. McGill reported that this was a good
Young forward, but hardly big enough.
