Reports re Players	The Chairman reported that this player had not
Cape (Carlisle)	played as well v Rotherham. The price asked was
		£1500 but he had made a counter offer of £750.

Bruton (Burnley)	Secy. reported that as this player had been
		transferred to Blackburn Rovers, Mr. Sawyer & himself had
		not proceeded to Burnley.

Bradford & Biddleston	Mr. J. Sharp gave a poor report of these two
(Walsall)	players, but a good report of Williams (C.H. Brighton).

Brough (Whitehaven)	Mr. J. Elliott gave a very poor report of this player.

Feeney & Thomson	Mr. J. Fare reported that the former player
(Dundee)	was promising, but that Thomson was not good enough.
		J. Weir reported similarly re former & favorable of the latter.

Armadale Players	Mr. J. Bell reported that none of these players
		were good enough for us.

Routledge (Bangor)	Mr. J. Fare reported that this centre forward
		was very promising.

Wrightson (D'ton)	Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a poor report of this
		player.

Metcalfe (Blyth)	Mr. Laine reported that he did not consider
		this back as good as Cottrill (Durham).

Kelly & Easton		Messrs E. Green & Secy. reported that Grimsby Town had
		enquired re these two players. It was decided to
		ask for transfer fees of £2000 & £1500 respectively.

Jennings & Townsley	Secy. stated that he had been informed that
		the ages of these players were 28 & 30 respectively.
