Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported very favorably on the
Crawford (Preston) former, but did not consider the latter was
& Graham (Millwall) quite as good as Crawford.
Bradford & Biddleston Secy. gave a very good report of these two
(Walsall) players.
Hill (N'cle) Messrs A. Coffey & Secy. reported that they had
arranged with the N'cle United FC for the transfer
of this player for £3750 but that negotiations with
the player had broken down.
Martin (Bury) T. Fleetwood reported that this outside left
was not good enough for us.
Lynch (Rochdale) J. Elliott gave another good report of this
goalkeeper.
Wrightson (D'ton) J. McGill reported very favourable of this
outside right.
Thomson & Feeney Messrs J. Weir & J. Bill gave favorable reports
(Dundee) of these two players.
Gee & Helliwell J. Fare reported that the former player was
(Stockport City) very promising and that the latter was useful.
French (Walker Celtic) Mr. W. Laine gave a fairly good report of this back.
Cape (Carlisle) The Chairman reported the negotiations re this
player & stated that the player was not inclined
to move at present. If anything further transferred
he was authorised to continue the negotiations.
Hewitt Mr. J. Coulthard Stewart's report on this
player's condition was read & it was agreed that
he carry out the treatment he had suggested.
