Hardy, Raitt, Bain, Brown, Griffiths, Dickie,
Millington, Easton, White, Wilkinson, Lewis Res. Rooney.
Directors to Bradford Messrs H. Banks & W. C. Gibbins.
Reports re Players Messrs A. R. Wade & W. J. Sawyer gave a poor
Hampson (Nelson) report of this player.
Gillespie (E. Fife) Secy. reported that he considered this
player worth signing. Decided to find out
where he would be playing at week end & proceed
to Scotland to negotiate for his transfer.
Barry (Notts C.) Mr. J. Fare gave a fair report of the
Pegg (Lincoln C.) former, but only a moderate one of the
latter. Decided that Secy. enquire if Notts C.
would be prepared to part with Barry.
Marshall (Southport) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that he did not
consider this player good enough for us.
Cresswell (S'land) Mr. W. Laine reported that he was not
impressed with this player.
Annual Meeting It was decided that the following
of Leagues} Directors would attend. Messrs J. Sharp, W. J. Sawyer
A. R. Wade & W. C. Gibbins with Secy.
A team The question of continuing this team was
brought forward and after discussion it was
decided to continue with it & to apply for
permission to the Lancashire Combination.
Shell Mex F. C. Letter read from this club complaining
of our treatment of them re signing of Lewis. Secy.
instructed to reply that the Board resented
the tone of their letter & that nothing further
could be added to Secy's. previous communication.
Nominations The following gentlemen were nominated
for Directorate} for seats on the Board viz. W. R. Clayton,
J. Pendlebury, Wilson & Robt. Alexander.
