Taylor (Dundee U.) considered this player promising, he could
not recommend him on form shown.
Walsh (Bristol C.) Mr. J. Elliott gave a fair report of
this back.
Whitelaw (Doncaster) Mr. J. McGill gave a good report of
this half back.
Robertson (Ayr) Mr. J. Weir gave a fairly good report
of this player & stated fee required was
about £3000. Decided not to negotiate at
that figure.
Wrexham v Stockport Mr. W. C. Gibbins gave a report of this
match & reported favorably of Jones (Wrexham),
Bellis (Wrexham) & Fielding (Stockport).
Batty (Barnsley) Mr. J. Fare reported that as this
player did not appear to be playing to the
best of his ability, he could not say much
about him.
Roy (Birtley) Mr. W. Laine gave a promising report
of this forward.
