Arrangements v It was decided to travel to Blackpool
Blackpool & Rovers Re. on Xmas Day & Blackburn on New Years Day
by Saloon Bus.
Reports re Players Secy. reported that he did not consider
Moran (Wigan) this player good enough for us.
Hodgkinson (Barnsley) Messrs J. Fare & J. McGill gave a fairly
good report of this player.
Ball (Chorley) Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not
consider this player of standard required by us.
Lawton (Tillotsons) Mr. J. McGill gave a fair report of this
player.
O'Grady (Nantwich) Mr. Elliott gave a very good report
of this player.
Kell & Wright Mr. W. Laine reported very favorably
(Birtley) of these two players.
Crichton (E. Sterling) Mr. J. Weir gave a very fair report
of this half back.
F.A. Cup Secy. reported we had been drawn
to play Chelsea (away) in 3rd Round. Letter
read from that Club suggesting that prices
be same as for ordinary league matches.
It was agreed to suggest that each club
have 50 Complimentary tickets & that we ask
for 25% of bookable seats at 5/-.
L'pool County Application received from this F.A.
F.A. for use of ground for inter County match on
Jany. 12th. Decided to confer with the L'pool
club on the matter.
Composition Rates Letter read from L'pool Corpn. stating
that the question of payment of these rates
would be brought before the Rating Committee.
