Directors to Sheffield Messrs H. Banks & W. J. Sawyer.
Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare gave a fairly good
Chesters & Dudley report of the former, if he was not too
(Northwich) old, and also reported that the latter was
not good enough.
Matthews & Mr. J. Elliott gave a poor report
Ferguson (Mold) of the former, but a good one of the
Tew (Holyhead) latter. He also reported that Tew was
not good enough.
Ball & Haywood Mr. J. McGill gave further good
(Chorley) reports of these two players.
Douglas (Bedlington) Mr. W. Laine reported that these
McTaggart (Walker Celtic) players were hardly of the standard
required.
McLean (Kirkintilloch) Mr. J. Weir reported that this
player was very promising & it was agreed
that he follow him up.
Damage to Overcoats Messrs W. Gillis & G. H. Rhind wrote stating
that their overcoats had been damaged by
paint. It was decided to ask them to let
us have the articles to be cleaned.
Goodfellow Fund Mr. A. Jeans was granted permission for
a collection to be taken on the 22nd prox. for
this fund. Also agreed to give a donation
of £5.5.0.
Schools F. A. This Association was granted the use
of the ground for a Cup tie on Jany. 2nd.
Jubilee History The Chairman was given power to
appoint a gentleman to edit this History
Burglary It was agreed to pay Storey & B. Smith
£1 each as value of overcoats stolen.
Players on Transfer Lists of players on transfer by Bradford
& Grimsby Town F. C.'s were read, but no action
taken.
