Reports re Players Messrs E. Green & J. Weir gave poor reports
Imrie (St. Johnstone) of this player's display v Rangers.
Harrison (Bury) Mr. J. Fare gave a moderate report of
this goalkeeper.
Chorley Players Mr. J. Elliott reported that there were no
players in this team of use to us but he
gave a good report of Endboone (G. K. M/c Central)
Beeson & Bicknell Mr. W. Laine gave a fairly good report
(Chesterfield) of the former.
Bullough (W'houghton) Mr. J. McGill reported that he did not
consider this player of standard required.
Moore (Belfast C.) Letter read from Mr. J. Ferguson that
he did not consider this player good enough
for us.
Lancs. C.C.C. Dinner It was decided that we entertain the
players to Dinner at Exchange Station Hotel
on Sat. Nov. 10th & invite the local press representation.
Paterson (Mugiemoss) Letter read stating that this player
was now unable to come on trial.
England v Ireland Secy. reported that Dean had been
selected to play in this match on 22nd inst.
Agreed that the following Directors

J. Sharp & A. R. Wade.
Collection Agreed to allow the Natl. Institute for
Blind to make a collection on Feby. 23rd.
Lancashire Cup Secy. reported that we had been drawn
against Oldham Ath. or Southport away & in
event of former club winning, the suggested
Oct. 30th as date. Decided to accept this, but
to ask them if they would play here.
S'land F.C. Letter read asking if we could offer
them an outside right. Decided to offer Meston at £1000.
