Reports re Players Mr. J. Weir gave good reports of
Imrie (St. Johnstone) these two players. He also reported
Thomson (Celtic) that he had not had very good reports
of Bain (Fraserburgh).
Davidson (Ards.) Mr. E. Green gave a poor report of
this player.
Hyde (Blyth) Mr. W. Laine gave a good report of this
back.
Jones (Aldermere) Mr. J. Elliott reported that this player
was good but rather on small side.
Mitcheson Mr. J. Fare reported unfavorably of
this back.
Bullock (W'houghton) Mr. J. McGill gave a promising
report of this player.
Morris & Holmes Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that these
(Prescot) players were not good enough for us.
Players on Transfer Secy. reported that the majority of
the Bolton Wanderers players were on offer,
but no action was taken.
Easton It was decided to offer this player
to the following clubs at £1000- viz. Bolton,
Bury, Barnsley, Oldham Ath. & Reading.
