Report re Players Secy. & Mr. J. Fare reported that they did
Burrows (Tranmere) not consider this player of requisite standard
Ritchie & Ferguson Mr. J. Weir again gave good reports re
(Falkirk) these two players, but stated that the club
were not prepared to transfer them.
Darwen v Bacup Mr. J. McGill reported that the only
player to show decent form was Leeming (HB)
of Darwen.
Cockcroft (Chester) Mr. J. Elliott gave a poor report of this
goalkeeper.
Beeson & Bicknell Secy. & Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that these
(Chesterfield) two backs were very promising.
Pinder (York) Mr. W. Laine reported very favourably of
this youth.
