Reports re Scottish Secy. reported that he had seen the
players Officials of the Club and had obtained in writing
Stein (Dunfermline) the option of this player for a fee of £1400
up to Wednesday next. Decided that Secy.
proceed to sign him on at that figure.
Dunn (Hibernian) He also reported his interview with the
officials of this club who were asking £6000
for this players transfer. Decided that Secy.
also endeavour to secure this players transfer
up to £5000, but to first offer £8000 for
Ritchie & Dunn together.
Harkness & Chalmers Secy. reported that the former player
(Queens Park) was likely to sign on as pro for a Scottish
Club, but there was no chance of the latter
changing his status.
Bastin (Exeter City) Mr. E. Green reported that he had received
a good account of this player.
Ross (Falkirk) Mr. J. Weir gave a fairly good report
of this player.
Chorley Players Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not considered
any of these players good enough for us.
