Reports re Players Secy. reported that the Club were not
Dunn (Hibs) prepared to part with this player at present.
McClelland (M'bro) He also reported that this player had
been signed on by Bolton Wanderers.
Martin (Hull City) He also reported that he had secured
this player's transfer at a fee of £1750 & had
signed him on at limit wage until 4th May 1929.
Action confirmed.
Jones (Bournemouth) Mr. D. Kirkwood gave a good report of this
player & it was agreed that he proceed to
Bournemouth with power to secure his transfer
up to £1500.
James (Preston N. E.) Mr. J. Fare reported that the club were
not prepared to part with this player. He gave
a good report of Thorpe (R. B.) of Blackpool.
Williams & Smith Mr. J. Elliott gave a further good report
(Connah's Quay) of these players.
Scottish Players Mr. J. Weir's report on Scottish Junior
players was read.
Barker (Cockfield) Secy. reported that this player had
signed a C. L. form.
Continental Tour Secy. was empowered to make the necessary
travelling arrangements for the Swiss Tour.
Oakmere F.C. Secy. was given authority to arrange
terms with this club for the yearly tenancy
of No. 2 pitch in Strawberry Lane.
F.A. Cup Semi-final Secy. reported the arrangements as to
prices for the replay.
