Scottish League to play in this match in Glasgow on Sat. next
and that Cooke had been appointed Trainer.
Secy. was deputed to attend the match.
Report re Players Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not
F.A. XI v N. Universities consider any of the players in this match
good enough for us.
Ascroft (Flint) He also reported that this player was
not suitable for us.
Meston (Gillingham) The Chairman & Secy. reported favorably of
this player. They had offered the club £300
& Dominy & Millington for him and their action
was confirmed.
Jones (Bournemouth) They also reported very favorably of
this player.
Hall (Doncaster) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that this player
was not good enough for us.
Barker (Cockfield) Mr. W. Laine again reported favorably of
this player and would try & get him to sign
a C. L. form.
Forfar Players Mr. J. Weir reported that he was not
impressed with Wilson (I. L) & Davidson (C. H.), but
that Hill (L. H.) whilst a good player was not
big enough.
