Waring (Tranmere) report of this player.
Common (Blyth) Mr. J. Elliott gave a very good
report of this player and it was decided
that Secy. watch him play on Sat. next
with powers to secure his transfer.
Richardson (Blyth) He also reported very well of
this inside right & Secy. stated he had
sent amateur forms for his signature.
Betton & Williams Mr. W. Green gave a fair report of
(Chesterfield) these two players, but stated that
Oxley (O. R.) was good.
Jacobson (Grimsby) Mr. J. Fare gave a very good
report of this full back.
Steele & Nicholson Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that Whilst
& Imrie (St. Johnstone) he considered Steele a very promising
back, he was too light - Nicholson did
not play, but he reported very favorably
of Imrie.
Clarke (Bathgate) He reported that this player was
not good enough for us - J. Weir reported like wise.
Hamilton & Chalmers He stated that he had been
(Rangers) informed by Mr. Struth that the club
were prepared to part with these players.
Harrowby backs Mr. J. Cahill reported that he did
