Reports re Players Mr. J. Sharp gave a good report of
Marshall (Southport) this player
McMullan (Ards) Mr. E. Green reported that he could
not recommend this goalkeeper.
Mellon (D'ton) Mr. J. Elliott gave a poor report of
this player.
Niblo (Kilmarnock) Mr. J. Weir reported unfavourably of
this back.
Brittleton & Peters Mr. A. R. Wade gave a good report
of these players, but Mr. Kirkwood stated
that he considered the latter too small.
Hodgkinson Letter read from Barnsley F. C. that
they might be prepared to consider exchange
of this player for a forward.
Billiard Balls Secy. reported that a set of balls had
been stolen but had been recovered by
the Police. It was decided not to prosecute.
Hospital Cup It was decided not to grant the
use of the ground for this match in the
near future owing to the state of the new turf.
West Indies Tour Secy. stated that the date of proposed
Tour was 1929 or 1930 & that he had written
stating it was too far ahead for us to consider
at present.
C. L. Matches Mr. Wade raised the question of playing
some of our matches on Wednesdays, but
it was decided to leave the matter over
until fixtures were made for next Season.
