Waring (Tranmere) Mr. A. Coffey reported that he did
not consider this player good enough for us
at present.
Barkass (Bradford C.) Mr. J. Elliott gave another good report
of this player.
Mellon (D'ton) Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not
consider this player up to standard required.
Marshall (Southport) Secy. gave a very good report
of this player.
Rae (Kings Park) Mr. J. Weir reported that this player
was not of the standard required.
Storm Damage Secy. reported that part of the hoarding
in Bullens Rd. had been blown down and that
damage had been done to the roof of Gwladys
St. Shelter & also roof of Goodison Rd. Stand
also considerable damage to Gwladys St. property.
He was instructed to have the repairs carried out.
Advertisement} A letter was read from D. Allen & Sons Ld.
Hoarding} offering to erect a new hoarding if they
could get a lease. It was agreed to offer
them a lease for 7 years at the present rent
up to 7th May 1928 & £75 per annum afterwards
& that should circumstances arise that we
found it necessary to determine the lease
during that period they to be allowed a
rebate of £30 per year for the unexpired
period.
West Indies Secy. was instructed to enquire when
Tour the proposed Tour was wanted to take place.
