Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that he was not
Blair (Clyde) impressed with this man's display for Scottish
League v Irish League.
Pickering Mr. J. Fare reported unfavorably of this
(Gillingham) player but spoke well of Meston (O. R.) &
Nichol (H. B.).
Worrall & O. L. Mr. J. Elliott reported that these two
Nantwich players were not good enough for us but
again reported well of Dobbin & Wood (Crawford)
also Turner L. B. of Winsford was promising.
Jones (M/C U.) Mr. D. Kirkwood gave a poor report of
this player, but Chairman reported that in any
case the club were not prepared to part with him.
Northern Players Mr. W. Laine gave a report re players
in N'cle district.
Ireland v England Secy. reported that Dean (England) &
Irvine (Ireland) had been selected to play in
this match at Belfast on Sat. next. Decided
that Mr. A. Coffey represent the club at the match.
Watford F. C. Secy. reported an enquiry from this Club
re Bain, but no action was taken.
Use of Ground An application from Grand Orange Lodge
of England for use of ground in May was
not entertained.
Ground Complaints having been received from
the players re state of ground it was decided
to roll it with heavy roller and that during
Mr. H. Bank's illness. Secy. supervise the work
of the ground staff.
