hotels for accommodation at away matches in
those Towns viz. Royal Victoria, Sheffield, Queens,
Birmingham, Park, Cardiff & Palace, London.
Shareholders } The question of inviting so many Shareholders

Southport F. C.} Secy. reported that he had received

signed the player's transfer.
Painting A Sub Committee consisting of Messrs H. Banks,
A. Coffey & W. C. Gibbins reported that they had
opened tenders from Tippin Bros £25.0.0, R.
Ashcroft & Son £21.0.0, C. R. Harris £23.7.0
J. McCulloch £25.0.0 & W. Clerkson £22.15.0
& that they had accepted Messrs Ashcroft & Sons tender.
Action confirmed.
Wigan Boro. F. C. Secy. reported that he had received thro.
the League the £400 payable by M'bro F. C. to this
club for transfer fee re G. W. Jones.
Chorley F. C. An application from this club for us to
play a match v M/c United for the purchase
fund of their ground was not entertained.
Whippe's Racing An application for the use of Townsend Lane
ground for this sport was refused.
R. Fairfoul Secy. reported this player had asked for
his release. It was agreed to offer him £1 per week.
Next Meeting At Goodison Park on Wed. 19th inst. after
practice match.
