had decided that we were to receive the
transfer fee of £400 which the M'bro. Club
had decided to pay for G. W. Jones transfer
& the balance at the rate of £20 per month
th through the League.

to instruct M'bro. F. C. to send their Cheque
direct to Mr. Charnley.
Glover Letter read from Mr. T. Maley asking
if we would transfer this player to them
free, and in the event of their transferring
him to any other club, the amount of the
Fee which we had placed upon him should
be paid to us. This was agreed to provided
the Southport A. F. C. were prepared to give
us an undertaking to that effect.
Shareholders } The Secy. read letter from the Customs
Season Tickets } Authorities stating that tax was no
longer payable on these tickets.
League Management The Chairman was congratulated upon
Committee} his election to this Committee and it was
decided that same should be recorded
on the minutes of this meeting. The Chairman
thanked the Directors for their kind remarks
& also the deputation who had worked so
well for his success.
A. Harland The Doctors report on this players
condition was read.
Neil(Brighton) Letter read from this player for an
engagement. Decided not to entertain same.
Matthews(Barnsley) The Chairman reported that he had
got a very good report of this player who
had a free transfer, but it was decided to
take no action.
