Players Signed Secy. reported that the following players
had been signed on.
W. R. Dean from Tranmere Rovers Fee £3000
Wage £5 per week to 3/5/25 & £6 from that date to 1/5/26
with £1 extra when playing in 1st team
T. Millington from Oswestry Fees £100 to Wrexham F. C.
& £300 to Oswestry F. C. Wage £4 per week to 1/5/26.
with £1 extra when playing in 1st Team.
These engagements were confirmed.
Williams Secy. reported that this player had
been transferred to Blackpool F. C. at a fee
of £1250, the players accrued share of benefit
to be £275 and this was also confirmed.
Reports re Players Messrs Kirkwood & Makepeace reported that
Marshall (S'land) they were not impressed with this player, and
as the S'land F. C. were not prepared to take
less than £3500 it was decided to proceed no
further in the matter.
Broad (Wellingham) Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not consider
this player good enough for us.
Leicester City F. C. Letter read from Chairman of this Club
that they were not prepared to part with any
of their inside forwards.
St. Francis Kavan It was agreed to play a match with
College F. C. this College team on Thursday 2nd April on
their ground.
Manchester City F. C. Letter read asking for Compensation re
alteration of date. Decided to reply that if they
considered they were entitled to it the matter
would be gone in to.
Use of Ground The use of Goodison Park was granted
for the following
Apl. 18th L'pool Football League for Houston Cup Final
on K. O. at 6.30 pm.
