It was decided to have lunch at Exchange Hotel
on Sat. at 12.15 before proceeding to Bury.
Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare reported that he had interviewed
Millington the Wrexham F. C. who had agreed to accept a
fee of £100 had that he was meeting the Oswestry
club tomorrow.
Meads (Stockport) Mr. J. Fare reported that this player was
not good enough for us.
Derby C. & Clapton O. Mr. J. Fare favorably of the two
goalkeepers in this match Olney & Wood.
Dean (Tranmere) Secy. reported that the Chairman had
been informed by Mr. Halsall that the Tranmere
Rovers F. C. had refused £2750 for this player.
Wainscoat (M'bro.) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported unfavorably on
this player.
Kennedy & Lockhead M/c Mr. J. Sharp reported favorably on these
two players & the M/c U. club had promised to
inform us the fees required.
Hardy (Stockport) Secy. reported that the fee required for
this player was £3400. Decided to do nothing
at present.
Postponed Match} Secy. reported that Notts County had
v Notts County }agreed to play this match on 18th inst.
Bury F. C. Secy. reported that the Bury club had
offered to exchange Richardson (goal) for one
of our forwards (Chadwick preferred). Decided not
to entertain the proposal.
Barton It was agreed to give this player an
increase of wages of £1 per week.
