Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare gave a very good report of
Morgan (Armadale) this player & the Chairman's action in
agreeing to the price asked by the Armadale
club viz. £800 was approved. A telegram was
received stating that the deal was off but
it was decided Mr. Fare proceed to Armadale to
try & sign him on.
Keeping (S'hampton) The Chairman & Vice Chairman gave a good
Hannah (Norwich) report of the former, but stated that the
Club were not prepared to negotiate.
They also reported that they were not
too impressed with Hannah.
Tricker (Charlton) They also reported that the club were
not prepared to part with this player at
present.
Gilmour (Queen & S.) Mr. J. Elliott reported that he was
not impressed with this player, but reported
favorably of Houston (Bathgate)
Kelly (Bridgeton W.) Mr. J. Weir reported favorably of
Paterson (Camelon) these two players especially the latter.
Community Singing Permission was granted to the Daily
Courier to hold Community Singing on our
ground prior to the match v Tottenham Hotspur.
Winsford Hospital An application for us to play a match
for benefit of this hospital was deferred.
