Report re Irish Players Mr. D. Kirkwood reported very favorably of
Kendrick (Shelbourne) & Secy. reported fee required
was £500 with an additional £275 if playing
in 1st team. Decided that he proceed to sign
him on at a fee up to £500.
Griffiths & Graham Mr. J. Fare reported very favorably of
(Wrexham) the former, but moderately of the latter.
Decided that he proceed to Wrexham with
powers to sign the former on at a fee up to
£1500.
Southport v Crook Mr. J. Elliott reported that none of the
players in this match were good enough for us.
Curran & Hodgkinson Secy. reported that the former was
(Barnsley) not impressive, but that the latter was a
good average back but not outstanding.
Thomson (Luton) The Chairman & Mr. J. Sharp reported that
this player was not good enough for us.
Hunter (Horden) Secy. reported that this player had
signed on for Sunderland.
Stevenson (Motherwell) Mr. J. Weir gave a very good report
of this player.
Wilson (Mid Annandale) Secy. read letters re this player.
Decided that Secy. watch him play and
if satisfied to endeavour to sign him on
at a fee up to £500 failing his not being
able to negotiate for Ritchie (Hibs).
Johnson (M/C City) Secy. reported that he had been informed
by Secy. of this club that they might be
prepared to part with this player, and had
asked them to fix a price.
Woodhouse Secy. reported that this player had
decided he would not be prepared to be
transferred to Barnsley F. C.
