Mulcahy (Annfield) Messrs D. Kirkwood & W. Laine reported that
this player was very disappointing on Sat. last.
Kendrick & McMillan Mr. J. Elliott reported very favorably of
(Shelbourne) the former, but stated he was not impressed
with the latter. He also stated he had been
informed they had a good back named Daly.
Wright (Chorley) Mr. W. Green reported that this player
was not good enough for us.
Ward (Barry) Mr. D. Kirkwood gave a fair report of
this player.
Williams (W. Ham) Messrs J. Ford & G. Hoare gave fair reports
of this player.
C. L. match v It was reported that this match had
M/C United been postponed on account of fog, and that
it had been provisionally arranged to
play on Xmas Day morning, the M/C U. club
to pay our expenses. The Board however
decided to ask the M/C club to cancel this
arrangement & it was left in the hands of the
Chairman to interview Mr. H. Hardman.
Donation Decided to make a grant of £2.2.0 for
the Gulliver Poor Children's Treat.
Use of Ground An Application from St. Alphonsus for
use of ground for match on Boxing Day morning
was not entertained.
