Reports re Players Messrs E. Green & A. Coffey gave very favorable
O'Donnell & Scott reports of these two players & letter was read
D'ton from the D'ton Club that about £2000 would
probably be required for the former. It was
decided that the Directors staying at D'ton
interview that Club with power to purchase
their two players.
Mills (Hull City) Secy. reported that this player was
injured during match v Portsmouth, but that
up to that time he had shown promising form.
Muirhead (Rangers) Mr. H. Makepeace gave a favorable
report on this player & it was decided
that Mr. J. Fare interview the Rangers club
as to terms of transfer.
Tonner (Clapton O.) Letter read stating fee for this player
was £1500.
Hetherington It was agreed to cancel this player's
registration for our club.
Jones (Blackpool) Messrs A. Coffey & A. R. Wade reported that
this player was lacking in tackling ability.
S. African Players Letter read from Football League
stating terms upon which these player could
be signed. Chairman also reported that he
had received as reply from Mr. Wheeler, Mr.
Sergeant also attended & stated that he
was not prepared to assist any further on
