Reports re Players Messrs the Chairman, E. Green & A. Coffey
Inter League match reported that none of the players in the
Irish team were good enough for us.
Shirebrook v Ilkeston Messrs Kirkwood & Elliott reported that they
did not consider any of these players up to
our Standard.
Earle (Nelson) Mr. J. Elliott gave a very good report
of this player.
Johnston (Denaby) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported very favorably
of this player.
Barkas Dent Messrs W. J. Sawyer & J. Fare reported very
& Cook (H'field) well of Cook, but the conditions were too bad to
judge very much. The former reported that the
club were not prepared to part with Cook.
St. Albans City Players Mr. G. Hoare reported very well indeed of
Seabrooke (I. R.)
Coglin (S'land) Mr. W. Laine gave a good report, but Mr.
J. Fare did not consider him of 1st League standard.
Assessment It was agreed that the Chairman
of New Stand & Secy. meet the Rating Surveyor on this
matter.
McLelland (M'bro.) & Secy. reported that the clubs concerned
Wainscoat (Leeds) were not prepared to part with these players.
St. Johnstone F. C. Letter read promising payment of
the £1000 at an early date.
Photos of Ground Secy. reported that Mr. A. Leitch had
presented the club with a Sketch of the ground
& a photo of same for each Directors. His
application to send one for publication in
the Athletic News was granted.
