M/c F. A. v Sheffield	Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that none of the
		players in this match were suitable for us.

Binns (Shirebrook)	Mr. J. Elliott reported that he was not too
		impressed with this player but spoke very well
		of Goucher (L. B) & Gordon (I. L). He also stated he
		had heard good reports of O. R. of Mexbro.

Barnsley Players	Mr. J. Fare reported that the only player
		to show decent form was Gale (G. K).

Wainscoat (Leeds)	He also reported favorably on this player's
		form, but stated he had heard that his
		character was not too good.

New Brighton v Tranmere	He further reported that none of these players
		were good enough for us.

Clarke (Albion Rovers)	Secy. reported that this player was not
		good enough for us at present.

Preston v Wolves	He reported that James (P. N. E) had given
		a splendid display in this match.

Mullen (Birtley)	Mr. W. Laine again gave an excellent report
		of this player.

Gibson (Partick)	The Chairman reported on his visit to
McPhail & Weldon Scotland & his enquiries re these players but
       (Airdrie)
Keeping (S'hampton) the clubs concerned had refused to entertain
		the question of transfers.
