		favorably on this players ability,  but stated
		that his character was not too good.

McPhail & Weldon	Messrs W. J. Sawyer & J. Fare gave good
		reports of these players especially the latter.

Griffiths (Wrexham)	Mr. E. Green reported that this player
		was worth seeing again.

Lane (Spurs)		Mr. D. Kirkwood gave a poor report of
		this player.

Robertson (Ashton)	Mr. J. Elliott reported that this player
		was not good enough for us.

Jackson (Chester)	Mr. J. Fare reported  that this player
		was not suitable for us.

Bennett (Whitchurch)	Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that this
		player was not good enough for us.

Bell (Stalybridge)	Mr. J. Elliott reported very favorably
		on this player. Letter from his father was read.

Talbot & Mullen		Mr. W. Laine again reported favorably

Wilcox			This player having completed his
		months trial it was decided not to offer
		him an engagement.

Gaumont Co.		Decided to grant this firm permission
		to take pictures of the match v L'pool.

Murray			Secy. reported that the New Brighton
		F. C. had make enquiries re this player. Decided
