N. Brignton v Bradford of Williams (N.B.) & Peel (Bradford) & Mehaffy (N.B).
Bell (Stalybridge) J. Elliott reported very favorably of this
player.
Griffiths (Wrexham) J. Fare gave a very good report of this
player.
Lane. (Tottenham) J. Fare reported that this player had not
done too Well v H'field, but stated that Brown
(H'field) & Blair (Spurs) had played very well.
Chorley Players D. Kirkwood reported that none of these
players were good enough for us.
Bradford City Secy. reported that he was not impressed
v Oldham Athletic with any of the players in this match except
Gray & McLaren (goalkeepers).
Notts. County Players D. Kirkwood reported that Davis (I. L.) had
played very poorly, but that Mills (I. R.) & Barry
(O. L.) had played very well.
Blackpool Res. Secy. reported that the only players he
v H'field Res. was impressed with were Barkass (R. B.), Dent
(C. F.) & Steelo (R. H.) of H'field.
