Jones (Chirk)	promising, but light, & should be seen again.

Accrington Res. v	Mr. J. Elliott reported that he did not consider
Atherton	any of the Atherton players good enough for us, but
		reported favorably of Armitt (C. H.) & Powell (I. F.) of Accrington.

Mullen & Talbot		Mr. W. Laine gave a fair report of these two
(Birtley)	players but would see them again.

Morecambe Players	Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that none of
		these players were of the required standard for us.

Macdonald		Letter read from F.A. stating that the
		Referee had cautioned this player at Bury on
		1st inst.
