Ground Improvement Mr. H. Banks brought forward the question
of re-turfing the playing pitch & it was
left in hands of Chairman to get prices
of turf.
L'pool County F. A. This Association having applied for use
of ground on 31st inst. it was decided to leave
the matter in hands of Chairman & Secy. the question
of arranging for that date.
Stanfield F. C. Secy. reported that this Club had disbanded
but he was trying to re-let their pitch.
Winsford Hospital Letter read asking of we could play
match at Winsford for benefit of this institution.
It was agreed to do so provided a suitable date
could be arranged.
F. A. Cup Final It was decided to apply for 20 guinea
tickets for this match.
Australian Tour It was decided to also nominate
J. G. Cock for this Tour if willing to go.
S. African Players Chairman reported that the Football League
had agreed to our paying passage money to
any S. African player signed on & he was
requested to ask Mr. Wheeler if he would
negotiate with Riley, Murray & Hodgson offering
them maximum terms allowed by League rules.
Broad Letters to & from the Stoke Club were
read by Chairman & Secy. was instructed to
inform the player as to result.
