Players Tickets It was decided to grant each player for Cup Tie 2 tickets for cup tie on 10th inst. Jones (Blackpool) The deputation gave their report on this player and after discussion it was decided to make an offer of £2500 if not cup tied for his transfer. Hines (Barnsley) Mr. H. Makepeace reported that he did not consider this player of the standard required. Forbes Wolverhampton Wanderers having made an enquiry for an outside left, it was agreed to offer them Forbes at £1500. Chadwick Letter read from Bradford City asking if we were prepared to part with this player. Decided to reply in negative. Millington Decided that Mr. J. Fare proceed to Oswestry to negotiate for the transfer of this player from that club for up to £150, the amount asked being £500. Elliott's Benefit Agreed to grant this member of the Staff a Benefit and Secy. was instructed to ask the Corinthians F. C. if they would be prepared to play a midweek match in our ground and if so terms required. Broad Letter from Stoke F.
