Cheshire F. A. } W. C. Smith (L'pool) & R. Parkar (Stalybridge) had
shown decent form.
Frost (Congleton) Mr. H. Cooke reported unfavourably of this
player.
Temple (Preston C.) Mr. W. Laine gave a good reported of this
player also of Jeffirson (C. F) of same club.
Northern Nomads A further application was received
from this club for financial assistance, but
it was decided not to grant any.
League match v Secy. reported that owing to Sunderland
Sunderland being engaged in F. A. Cup, this match had
been postponed on 20th inst. Application had
been received from Sheffield Wednesday.
Preston N. E. & Belfast Distillery for friendly
match. Decided to fix up with Preston on
Cup Tie terms.
Use of Ground Application from the Lancashire F. A. for
use of ground on 20th inst. & L'pool Orange Football
League for date in April were not granted.
F. A. Cup Semi final The question of offering our ground for
one of the Semi finals was left over at present.
