Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that this goalkeeper
Millington (Willenhall) was a good one he considered he was too
small for League football, but he spoke
favorably of Prince (Cannock Town).
Curran (Barnsley) Secy. reported that this player had
been starved in match v Fulham but what
he had to do, did well. He spoke very
favorably of Oliver & Barrett half backs
of Fulham.
Seasons Lambert Mr. J. Fare reported very favorably of
& Buckley (Doncaster) the former player, but stated that he
did not consider the other two up to League
Standard.
Chester v Witton Albion Mr. D. Kirkwood reported very well of
Jackson (C. H.) of Chester & Wagstaff (F. B.) of Witton
but stated that Hall (O. L.) of Witton was not
good enough.
Temple (Preston, Colliery) Mr. F. Ward reported favorably on
this outside right & it was decided he be
seen again.
D. Reid Enquiry received from Oldham Athletic
re this player. Decided not to entertain
parting with him.
Lancashire Cup Secy. reported we had been drawn v
Burnley at home in 2nd Rd. of this Cup & he had
fixed same for Wed. Nov. 11th at 2. 45. Action
confirmed.
