Tranmere v Grimsby they were not impressed with any of
the players in these matches.
Parkin (Durham C.) Mr. J. Fare gave a favorable report
re this player & recommended he be seen
again.
Players on Transfer Secy. reported that Langford (Swansea)
& Cassidy (Bolton W'rs) were on offer but no
action taken.
Harland Mr. A. R. Wade suggested that this player
should be put on transfer but it was decided
to do nothing at present.
Preston N. E. Players Letters read offering certain players
but no action taken.
McBain It was decided to offer this player
for transfer.
Poppett (Swindon) Letter read re this player but in
view of his being a re instated pro. it was
decided not to give him a trial.
Taylor (Huddersfield) Chairman reported that he was writing
to the Huddersfield Club asking if they would
part with this goalkeeper & his action was
approved. It was left to a sub committee
consisting of the Chairman & Messrs A. Coffey & J.
Sharp to negotiate for his transfer.
Ireland v England Permission for Irvine to play in this
match on the 24th inst was granted.
