Team Selections The following teams were selected v Corinthians (a) 24th inst Fern, Downs, Macdonald, Peacock, McBain, Hart, Chedgzoy, Irvine, Cock, Chadwick & Troup v M/c United Res (h) Salt, Caddick, Weller, Jeffes, Reid, Grenyer, Parry, Miller, Forbes, Williams & Harrison Res Rooney v Prescot Left to Staff. Directors to London Messrs A Coffey, E Green & H Banks. Harrison Mr J Fare reported the result of the negotiations with Oldham Athletic re this player & receipt of a telegram stating they could not agree to terms. Secy was instructed to write the club stating their Directors had made an offer which had been accepted & asking when they intended carrying out their part of the bargain. Downs Mr J Fare reported that after being interviewed by the Clapton Orient manager the player declined to accept terms. Butler (Dton) Secy reported that he had arranged with the club to give a fee of £850, but that the player after being interviewed twice had refused to move at present.
