Reports re Players Secy reported that this outside left
Piper (Craighead) was young & promising & should be seen again.
Smith (Leicester C) Mr J Fare reported that this player
had played very well at outside right. It
was decided to ask if the club would play
him inside & if so he be seen again.
Porter (Rawlinsons U) Mr D Kirkwood reported that this player
was of no use to us.
Scottish Players Mr J Craig's report on various Scottish
Players was read.
Inter League matches Reports were received from Mr W. J. Sawyer
on match L'pool League v Southport League
from Mr H Halliday on Zingari League v
Manchester League.
Players for Transfer It was decided to place the following
players on transfer
W Brown £1500, L Weller £500, R Downs £800,
G Harrison £3000 & F Alford £400.
New Stand The question of the erection of New Stand
was deferred until next meeting.
Property The question of the disposal of some of
the property was discussed & it was decided
to retain same at present. It was decided
to increase the rents to the full amount
allowed under the Act & it was left in the
hands of Mr W. J. Sawyer & Secy to attend to
the matter.
