NE League & Central League the best players in this match were Gardiner
(IL Spennymoor), Hobson (FB W Stanley) & Weaver
(O.L Burnley).
Croston v Bacup Boro Mr W C Gibbins & Secy reported very favorably
on Halshaw (IR Croston) & Sandiford (IR Bacup)
was fair, but that Walker (GK Bacup) had not
much to do but made a very serious mistake
& was hardly of the standard required by us.
Swindon v Brentford Mr H Makepeace reported that he did
not consider Philipson (Swindon) of required
standard for us, but that Johnson (IL Swindon)
