B. H. Baker Secy reported that the Chelsea club
could not see their way to transfer this
player to us but raised no objection to our
having a talk to the player.
Roberts (Bolton) This player having been placed on
transfer. Secy was instructed to enquire price
required.
Caddick Secy was asked to consult Dr Baxter
as to question of having this player examined
by a specialist.
Smailes (N'cle) Secy reported that this player was likely
to play at Burnley on Sat & in that event
Messrs A Coffey, A R wade & W J Sawyer were deputed
to watch him play & if satisfied to have power
to deal.
D. Raitt
Leave of Absence This player was granted leave from
after Saturdays match until next Tuesday night.
Hospital Cup The Committee of this Competition were
granted the use of Townsend Lane ground on
Wed 18th inst
Schools McLachlan The Townsend Lane ground was also
Cup granted for Final of this Cup on Apl 25th.
Spencer An enquiry having been received from
the Wigan Boro FC it was decided to offer
this player to them for £500 clear & also to
M/c United FC in part exchange for Steward (GK)
