L'pool Schools FA	This association was granted use of Townsend
		Lane ground on Sat next 27th inst in the morning.

Reports re Players	Messrs A R Wade & W. C. Gibbins reported that
Rotherham v Stockport Harris (fullback) & Sutcliffe (goal) of Rotherham City
		were very promising and should be seen again,
		also that Cockburn (CH) of Stockport City was not
		good enough for us.

Matthews		The Chairman & Mr E Green reported that they
(Boscombe)	considered this player very promising but hardly good enough
		for figure asked that they had arranged with the Chairman of the
		Boscombe FC that he be watched again on Sat
		next at Coventry. Decided that Messrs E Green &
		J Sharp proceed there, if has not already
		been signed by Bolton Wdrs as reported in Press.

Drummond		Mr J Craig reported that this player
(Bathgate)	was not good enough for us.

Walker & Sandford	Mr W Green reported that these players
(Bacup)		were very promising & recommended they
		be seen again.

Naylor (Prescot)	Mr D Kirkwood reported that in his opinion
		this player was no better than our A team
		backs.

Vickers (Croston)	Mr J McGill reported favorably again on 
		this player, but as he was 27 yrs old it was
		decided to take no further action.

East v West of Scotland Messrs Fare & Kirkwood reported on this
		match & spoke favourably of Archibald (Rangers),
		Ritchie (Hibernians), Ramsay (Kilmarnock), Hutton
		(Aberdeen) & Harper (Hibernians).

FA Cup 1923-4		It was decided to enter for this competition
		& to apply for exemption from Qualifying Rounds.

Use of Ground		An application from the Mersey Football
		League for use of ground for inter league 
		match was deferred.
