Cock (Chelsea) The Chairman reported that he had interviewed the Chelsea club & had finally offered £2000. Secy was given powers to sign the player on if this figure was accepted & the Chairman's action was confirmed. McBain (M/C U) Secy was instructed to write the two Wilson (Wednesday) clubs concerned thanking them for their Kindness in offering us these players, but to point out that we considered the fees of (£4600) & £6000 respectively far too high but that if they were prepared to considerably reduce same, we may enter into negotiations. Troup (Dundee) Secy instructed to ask if Club were now prepared to part with this player & if so transfer fee required. Meeting Decided to hold meeting at Exchange Hotel on Tuesday at 5.30 instead of at ground.
