J. Peacock Secy. reported that the Football League
had agreed to this player having an advance
of £150 on account of his benefit.
Wireless Aerials W. Maltman tenant of 6 Goodison Avenue
having applied for permission to erect wireless
the matter was left in hands of Mr. H. Banks,
but Secy. was instructed to give all tenants
who had erected wireless aerials without our
permission to remove same with the view of
putting them on an agreement.
Railway Charges It was agreed to support the appeal
of the Portsmouth F. C. for doing away with the
charges for reserved Compartments &c.
Wearside League Application for match with this League
was not entertained.
R. Jones It was decided to offer this player
a professional engagement at £3 per week.
Billiard Handicap Agreed to grant £5.5.0 towards
prizes for Players Billiard Handicap.
Record of Marks The Chairman having brought forward
for Players a scheme for the allotment of marks for players
performances in 1st & 2nd teams, it was agreed
to adopt same, but the information to be kept
for private use of the Board.
Recreation Room The Secy. was instructed to see that this
room was not open after 5.30 pm. unless
on special occasions.
