Reports re Players Secy. reported that owing to this player
Dean (Tranmere) being injured in the first 10 minutes he was
unable to give a report on his play. It was
decided that the Chairman & Vice Chairman watch
him play on Sat. next and if satisfied, to have
powers to sign him on up to a fee of £1500.
Aberdeen Players Mr. J. Fare reported unfavorably of Hutton
& Rankine but spoke favorably of Smith (O. L.).
Flemimg (St. Johnstone) He also gave a favorable report of
this player.
Wilson & Shaw Mr. H. Makepeace reported that whilst the
(Huddersfield) former was good in midfield, he was poor in
front of goal. He stated however that the
latter had played well & advised he be seen again.
Blue Water Evening Agreed to allow sandwich boards to go
round the ground on 8th & 15th inst.
Donations It was decided to grant £2.2.0 each
to L'pool Union of Girls Clubs & the Flanders
Poppy Remembrance Day Fund.
Collection It was agreed to grant the L'pool
Seamen's Friend Society permission to take a
collection on the 8th inst.
Match v S. Africans The following officials were appointed
viz. J. T. Howcroft (Referee) & T. E. Constantine & J. McAleer
(Linesmen).
It was also decided to give a Farewell
Dinner to the S. Africans after the match on 3rd
