L'pool Hospital Cup Agreed to grant use of Goodison Park for Final Tie of this cup on Wed. 17th Decr. provided it interfered with no other match of ours or L'pool. Lancashire Cup Secy. reported we had been drawn v Bury at home. Agreed to offer to play them on Monday Nov. 3rd. Druids F. C. An application from this Club for a match at Chirk was not entertained. Leeds United F. C. It was decided to ask this Club to pay us the half net gate re match on 17th inst. H. Hamilton Chairman reported that he & Secy. had interviewed this player & offered him £1 per week with £5 signing on bonus. This was confirmed & player signed on. British Legion An application from the Scotland Rd. Branch for a donation was deferred for 2 weeks. Reports re Player J. Fare reported that Dean (Tranmere Rovers) was very promising & Secy. reported very favorably on him also. Secy. stated that he was to meet Mr. R. Ledson re the player.
