Australasian Tour Secy. was instructed to interview the
players as to their being desirous of taking
part in this Tour & report.
N. Nomads v S. Africa Secy. reported that application had been
made for a match between these teams to be
played on our ground on Oct. 1st. Decided to
decline same in view of following minute.
Central League match Chairman reported an application from
v L'pool the L'pool F. C. to postpone our match fixed for
Oct. 1st to enable them to play the S. African F. A.
They agreed to add their half share of gate
to the pooling of the 2 Central League gates & to
play us on our ground on Oct. 8th the match
for that date to be postponed & fixed provisionally
for Jany. 10th. This was agreed to.
H. Hamilton Letter read from this player - Decided
to be asked to meet Chairman & Secy. for an
interview they to have power to fix him up
as a professional if desirous of becoming one.
Flint F. C. An application from this Club to allow
H. Hamilton to play for them was refused.
Collection on ground An application to make a collection for
the Police Aided Clothing Assocn. on Sept. 27th
was agreed to.
Report re Players Mr. J. Fare reported favorably on
Warburton (R. H.) & Mumford (I. R.) of M/c North End
& also Dean (C. F.) of Tranmere Rovers. It was
agreed to ask the Tranmere club if they were
prepared to part with this player & if so the
transfer fee required.
Players recommended Patton (C. F.) Ards & Hughes (C. F.) Wrexham.
