Wembley Match Mr. H. Banks & Secy. reported that the Stadium
ground was unfit to play on owing to being covered
with Ashes &c. Together with the L'pool F. C. they
had suggested that the ground should be hand
raked & brushed to make it playable. They had
attended a further meeting with the Lord Mayor
at which a telegram had been received from
the Stadium Authorities stating they could not
do what was asked, in time. The two clubs
representatives had informed the Lord Mayor that
unless our suggestion was carried out. We would
be unable to play the match. This was confirmed
& it was decided to await a further communication
from the Lord Mayor.
Mangnall Benefit It was agreed to play in red & that
both trainers should go.
Makepeace's Duties It was decided that this official should
apply himself during the week to the tuition
of all players, watch weaknesses in the team's
play & endeavour to improve them - Supervise
training outside when Elliott is not available,
and also to be at the disposal of the Board for
any other duty.
Prices for It was decided to recommend the
International match} following prices for England v Ireland match
on Oct. 22nd viz. Same as for 1st League match
with exception of Shareholders & Members Stand

Peacocke Benefit It was decided not to make this
player an advance of £200 on account of
his benefit.
