Reports re Players Messrs Kirkwood & Makepeace reported that the
Wrexham v Newport only player to show decent form was the O.L.
of Newport County
Cassidy (Celtic) Secy reported favorably re this player but
stated that Mr W Maley had informed him that
they were not likely to part with this player.
Leave of Absence It was agreed that 1st team players asking
for leave may be granted same up to 2nd May.
Fern's Benefit It was decided to apply to the League
to pay this player £500 in term of benefit.
Players unsigned Secy reported that he had not yet re signed
the following players viz McBain, Peacock, Virr,
Wall. The latter two not agreeing to terms.
It was decided to make the following offers to
players as follows:-
Virr £4 & £5, Wall £5 & £6, Macdonald & Grenyer
£6 & £8, Houghton £2 & £1 extra when in C.L. team.
It was also agreed to give the following
players free transfers viz Downs, Weller, Miller & Fern.
Smoking Concert It was decided to send invitations to the
WCC lady Shareholders.
Wedding Presents It was decided to apply to the League
for permission to make presents in kind up to the
value of £20 to Hart & Troup but that in future
